Our 1055 series features the domestic, 2-prong, Up/Down Angle North American Plug (NEMA 1-15P) with the IEC-60320-C7 Connector. These 2-conductor North American power cords are recommended for (un-grounded) laptops, notebooks, stereos, game consoles, electric razors, and many more devices. On one end they plug into any North American outlet or receptacle, and on the other they connect to any device using the IEC-60320-C8 Inlet. The IEC-60320-C7 is also referred to as the Figure-8 connector. The Up/Down Angle NEMA 1-15P plug is ideal for use in confined spaces because it eliminates stress placed on the conductors and strain relief. Because both prongs/blades are identical in shape, this up/down angle plug will allow you to position the cord in 2 directions: either up or down from the outlet. The 1055.036 carries the UL and C-UL approvals and is rated at 10A - 125V.
