Description
Our 1017 series features the 2-prong, Left/Right Angle North American Plug (NEMA 1-15P) with the Left/Right Angle IEC-60320-C7 Connector.
These 2-conductor North American power cords are the standard cords for (un-grounded) laptops, notebooks, stereos, game consoles, electric razors, and many more devices. On one end they plug into any North American outlet or receptacle, and on the other they connect to any device using the IEC-60320-C8 Inlet. The IEC-60320-C7 is also referred to as the Figure-8 connector.
This right angle power cord is ideal for use in confined spaces because it eliminates stress placed on the conductors and strain relief. The definition of a right angle plug is that when facing the outlet with the plug installed ground-pin-down, the cord trails away to your right-hand side.
This left/right angle power cord is ideal for use in confined spaces because it eliminates stress placed on the conductors and strain relief. This cord is said to be left/right angle because, lacking a ground pin and polarization, you can install it to lead away to the left or to the right.
Non-integral wire means that the inner conductors have their own insulation, in addition to an outside jacket around the inner insulation.
The 1017.012 carries the UL and C-UL approvals and is rated at 10A - 125V.
This North American power cord can also be used in the following countries: Bahamas Jamaica Barbados Laos Belize Mexico Canada Micronesia Cayman Islands Nicaragua Costa Rica No. Mariana Island Cuba Palmyra Atoll Dominican Republic Panama Ecuador Peru El Salvador Philippines Guam Puerto Rico Guatemala Thailand Haiti Venezuela Honduras Virgin Islands
