Our 0584 series features the Piggyback IEC-60320-C8/C7 Plug with the IEC-60320-C7 Connector Quick Release. These International IEC power cords have the internationally recognized VDE approval which means any country will accept them as valid and registered commodities. These Specialty IEC power cords are recommended for (un-grounded) laptops, notebooks, stereos, game consoles, electric razors, and many more devices. On one end the Piggyback IEC-60320-C6/C5 plugs into any C5 outlet or connector, and on the other the C7 connects to any device using the IEC-60320-C8 Inlet. The IEC-60320-C7 is also referred to as the Figure-8 connector, and it features a helpful Quick Release. A Quick Release is a thumb lever that easily ejects the plug or connector from a receptacle or plug. This feature reduces the amount of force necessary to remove your power cord and rearrange your equipment. It also eliminates the ??yanking? problem thus the deterioration/split of the conductors inside the cord.
