Our 0582 series features the Piggyback IEC-60320-C6/C5 Plug with the NEMA 1-15R Polarized Quick Release Receptacle. These Specialty power cords are recommended for powering any device or appliance that uses the NEMA 1-15P plug. On one end the Piggyback IEC-60320-C6/C5 plugs into any C5 outlet or connector. On the opposite end, the NEMA 1-15R features a helpful Quick Release. The NEMA 1-15R Polarized Receptacle features an elongated slot which can accommodate polarized plugs to be inserted in only one direction, and non polarized plugs in any direction. A Quick Release is a thumb lever that easily ejects the plug or connector from a receptacle or plug. This feature reduces the amount of force necessary to remove your power cord and rearrange your equipment. It also eliminates the ??yanking? problem thus the deterioration/split of the conductors inside the cord. The piggyback design is a space-saving feature that allows you to power your device while still leaving the outlet or receptacle free to power other appliances.
