Our 0580 series features the Piggyback IEC-60320-C6/C5 Plug with the IEC-60320-C5 Quick Release Connector. These Specialty IEC power cords are recommended for powering grounded (3-conductor) laptops, notebooks, components, and many more devices which use the IEC-60320-C6 inlet. The plug end connects to any IEC-60320-C5 outlet or connector, and conserves space via the piggyback configuration. On the opposite end, the IEC-60320-C5 connector is also called the Mickey-Mouse connector, and features a helpful Quick Release. A Quick Release is a thumb lever that easily ejects the plug or connector from a receptacle or plug. This feature reduces the amount of force necessary to remove your power cord and rearrange your equipment. It also eliminates the ??yanking? problem thus the deterioration/split of the conductors inside the cord.
