Our 0559 series features the 3-prong, North American NEMA 6-15P Plug with a 2-splitter (Y-Cord) that has two (2) NEMA 6-15R Receptacles. These Heavy Duty Power Cords feature plugs and/or connectors that are rated for high voltage and high current use, and are most often on large gauge wire. They can be used with heavy machinery as well as networking equipment (PDUs, Servers, UPSs ?) These power cords are extension cords. Featuring a plug and a receptacle of the same type, they provide additional range (length) for your equipment or devices from the power source. These multi-leg North American power cords are ideal for powering your high voltage/ high current equipment. The supply end plugs into any NEMA 6-15R wall outlet or receptacle, while the other end features 2 NEMA 6-15R Receptacles that can connect any 2 pieces of equipment that use the NEMA 6-15P.
