PTS-46303 A/B,Ñ¢ is a two-component silicone encapsulant suitable for casting applications involving completed circuit boards, hybrid circuits, and power supplies. It is characterized by its flexibility, reparability, thermal conductivity, and high-temperature resistance, making it ideal for use in automotive, telecommunications, and various electronic components such as transformers and capacitors. The product has a viscosity of 8,000 to 10,000 mPa¬?s and is available in black. It has a pot life of over four hours at 25°C and can be cured using forced air convection ovens at temperatures ranging from 85°C to 125°C, with specific curing times depending on the temperature. PTS-46303 A/B,Ñ¢ is UL94 V-0 approved for flammability at a thickness of 3.4 mm or greater and demonstrates excellent adhesion to common circuit board materials without the need for primers or conformal coatings. Typical properties of the cured product include a Shore A hardness of 60 ± 5, thermal conductivity of 1.3 W/M/K, and a volume resistivity of 2.5 x 10^15 Ω-cm at 100 V. It also exhibits low weight loss and steam resistance, making it suitable for long-term circuit protection in environments ranging from -65°C to 150°C.
