ANA-97290 is a clear ultraviolet/visible light curing adhesive designed for applications requiring low shrinkage during curing, making it suitable for alignment-sensitive components. It is particularly recommended for small electrical and electronic casting and encapsulating tasks. The adhesive exhibits excellent adhesion to metals, most engineered plastics, and glass, and is effective in lens bonding, backfilling electro-optic devices, and potting LEDs. The product has a viscosity of 3000 mPa¬?s and cures fully in 18 seconds under a 100 mW UV light source. It is a single-component adhesive, requiring no mixing, and has a work life that is effectively infinite at room temperature until exposed to UV light or heat. The cured adhesive demonstrates high resistance to moisture, automotive fluids, and thermal cycling between -40¬8C and 170¬8C. Typical properties include a Shore D hardness of 75 and a lap shear strength to aluminum of 6000 psi. The adhesive is available in various packaging options, including syringes and larger containers.
