The ProLinx family Modbus TCP/IP to DH-485 communications module (5201-MNET-DH485) creates a powerful connection between devices on a Modbus TCP/IP network and a DH-485 device. The module is a stand-alone DIN rail-mounted protocol gateway that provides one DH-485 configurable serial port and one Ethernet port. The ProLinx DH485 protocol driver supports the Master and the Slave modes of the protocol, providing powerful data transfer capability with Rockwell Automation PLCs and HMIs. User configurable data mapping make the interface an easy to use and powerful data transfer tool. The Modbus TCP/IP (MNET) driver can be used to interface many different protocols into the Schneider Electric Quantum family of processors as well other software solutions supporting the protocol. The MNET driver supports Client connections as well as Server connections.
