ProSoft Technology, Inc. DF1 Master/Slave To ASCII 5102-DFCM-ASCII3

The ProLinx family DF1 to ASCII communications module (5102-DFCM-ASCII3) creates a powerful connection between devices on a DF1 network and ASCII devices. The module is a stand-alone DIN-rail mounted protocol gateway that provides one DF1 configurable serial port and three ASCII configurable serial ports. The DF1 (DFCM) protocol driver supports Master or Slave implementations of the protocol on each DF1 port. All DF1 ports are individually configurable, providing a great deal of flexibility. The ASCII protocol driver permits the module to interface to many ASCII devices. Each ASCII port on the module is configurable to send and/or receive ASCII strings, each supporting its own individual serial network.
