The ProLinx family A-B Remote I/O Adapter to DNP 3.0 Master communications module (5601-RIO-DNPM) creates a powerful connection between devices on a DNP 3.0 Master network and Remote I/O devices. The module is a stand-alone DIN-rail mounted protocol gateway that provides one serial port and one RIO port. The RIO interface is an adapter (slave) which can be connected to a scanner (master) that controls the data transfer. The module also supports limited high speed data transfer via the Input and Output images. The DNP 3.0 Master protocol driver supports Master implementations of the protocol on one port. This port is fully configurable, providing a great deal of flexibility.
