The ProLinx family Modbus Plus to DNP 3.0 Slave communications module (5301-MBP-DNPS) creates a powerful connection between devices on a Modbus Plus network and DNP Slave devices. The module is a stand-alone DIN-rail mounted protocol gateway that provides one configureable DB9F port and one serial port. The Modbus Plus protocol driver exists in dual Modbus Plus Ports (MBP). The driver can be configured on an individual port basis as either a master or a slave to interface with other Modbus Plus devices. The Modbus port is fully configurable, providing a great deal of flexibility. The DNP 3.0 Slave protocol driver supports Slave implementations of the protocol on one port. This port is fully configurable, providing a great deal of flexibility.
