The ProLinx family Modbus Plus to DH-485 communications module (5301-MBP-DH485) creates a powerful connection between devices on a Modbus Plus network and DH-485 devices. The module is a stand-alone DIN-rail mounted protocol gateway that provides one Modbus Plus DB9F port and one DH-485 configurable serial port. The Modbus Plus protocol driver exists in dual Modbus Plus Ports (MBP). The driver can be configured on an individual port basis as either a master or a slave to interface with other Modbus Plus devices. The Modbus port is fully configurable, providing a great deal of flexibility. The ProLinx DH485 protocol driver supports the Master and the Slave modes of the protocol, providing powerful data transfer capability with Rockwell Automation PLCs and HMIs. User configurable data mapping make the interface an easy to use and powerful data transfer tool.
