This ultra high pressure water jet cleaning system is designed to remove coatings from aircraft engine components up to 60" (1.5m) diameter and 40" (1m) tall. It offers 7-axes of CNC controlled coordinated waterjet cleaning motion. Nozzle motions are achieved using a Fanuc 710i articulated arm robot that has been inverted and mounted to the ceiling of the process cabinet. The water jet stripping system can be supplied with a water intensifier pump manufactured by Jet Edge or Flow International in a variety of horsepower ranges.
