The Zirconia Oxygen Sensor System provides a complete, ready-to-use solution, eliminating the need for customers to design their own control electronics. It is commonly used in combustion systems burning coal, oil, gas, or biomass. The system combines SST’s fast-response zirconium dioxide (ZrO₂) screw-fit sensor (T90 <4s) with the OXY-LC interface board. At its core is a proven zirconia sensing element that operates without a reference gas. Its robust stainless steel construction allows reliable performance in high-temperature and harsh environments. The system features a closed-loop measurement method with a built-in heartbeat signal for real-time fault detection. The sensor is housed in a compact probe with an M18x1.5 mm thread for easy installation. It operates across a wide temperature range of –100°C to +250°C and offers a service life of up to 10 years, depending on application conditions. When paired with the OXY-LC interface, the sensor supports oxygen measurement ranges of 0.1–25% and 0.1–100%.
