The Series 106-1-C-12/3D is a single-in-line reed relay with a 1 Form C contact, rated for 3 W at 200 V, featuring a 12 V coil (1000 Ω) and an internal diode. Operate time is 1.0 ms, release time is 0.5 ms, and typical life is 10^7 operations under maximum load. An internal mu-metal screen limits magnetic interaction to 5%, allowing side-by-side stacking on 0.2 inch pitch. Insulation resistance exceeds 10^12 Ω. Operating temperature range is -20 to +85 °C, extendable to +125 °C with elevated coil voltage. Dimensions are 0.765 inches (19.4 mm) long, 0.33 inches (8.4 mm) wide, with a 7-pin configuration.
The Series 106 is a range of Single-In-Line reed relays intended for stacking on 0.2 inches pitch. Their small size, superb contact resistance stability and ultra high insulation resistance, make these relays an ideal choice for Automatic Test Equipment. They have an internal mu-metal screen to eliminate problems that would otherwise be experienced due to magnetic interaction. While the screening is not quite as efficient as the complete mu-metal can of the Series 107, 108 or 109, it is more than adequate for most applications (see explanation below).
