Pickering Electronics Series 106 106-1-A-12/1

Description
The Series 106 is a range of Single-In-Line reed relays intended for stacking on 0.2 inches pitch. Their small size, superb contact resistance stability and ultra high insulation resistance, make these relays an ideal choice for Automatic Test Equipment. They have an internal mu-metal screen to eliminate problems that would otherwise be experienced due to magnetic interaction. While the screening is not quite as efficient as the complete mu-metal can of the Series 107, 108 or 109, it is more than adequate for most applications (see explanation below). If even greater packing density is required, smaller devices are available in other Pickering SIL ranges..

Powered by GS/AI

The Series 106 is a range of Single-In-Line reed relays designed for stacking on 0.2 inch pitch, featuring an internal mu-metal magnetic screen to limit magnetic interaction to approximately 5%. The 106-1-A-12/1 variant is a 1 Form A relay rated for 20 W at 200 V, with a 12 V coil of 1000 Ω resistance, operate time of 0.5 ms, and release time of 0.2 ms. It offers insulation resistance greater than 10ⁱ⁲ Ω and capacitive coupling of 2.5 pF across the open switch. The device supports dry switching and operates within a temperature range of -20 to +85 °C, extendable to +125 °C with increased coil voltage. The package measures 0.765 inch (19.4 mm) in length and 0.33 inch (8.4 mm) in width, with pins on 0.1 inch (2.54 mm) pitch.
