The Pickering Series 105 is a range of single-in-line reed relays with internal mu-metal magnetic shielding for high packing density. The 105-2-A-24/6 variant is a two-form A mercury wetted relay with a 24 V coil, rated for 2 A switching at 50 W. It requires vertical mounting with pin 1 uppermost and includes an internal diode. The relay has a contact resistance of 0.075 Ω, insulation resistance greater than 10¹² Ω, and a typical capacitance of 4 pF across the open switch. It operates in 1.5 ms with a release time of 1.0 ms and supports 500 dynamic switching operations at maximum load. The package dimensions are 19.1 mm in length, 6.6 mm in width, and 7.9 mm in height.
The Series 105 is a range of Single-in Line reed relays, available with a wide variety of switching confi gurations and switch types, including mercury wetted versions. They feature internal mu-metal magnetic screens which allow high packing density without the risk of magnetic interaction problems.
The Pickering Series 100, 101, 103, 106, 107 and 108 all have the same pin locations as the Series 105. If a reduced coil power is desired, please consider our Series 100 and 101 which may be driven directly from CMOS logic. If a higher packing density is required, smaller devices are available in other Pickering SIL ranges.
