The Pickering Series 105 is a single-in-line reed relay with an internal mu-metal magnetic screen for high packing density without magnetic interference. The 105-1-A-24/4D variant features a 24 V coil, a Form A single-pole switch with switch number 4 optimized for high voltage applications, and an integrated diode. It supports switching up to 20 Watts at 1.2 A with a contact resistance of 0.15 Ω, an insulation resistance exceeding 10¹² Ω, and a capacitance of 0.15 pF across the open switch. The relay operates in 0.75 ms with a release time of 0.5 ms and is designed for 400,000 switching operations at rated load. The package is a plastic enclosure with a pin spacing of 0.1 inch (2.54 mm) and an overall length of 0.75 inch (19.1 mm).
The Series 105 is a range of Single-in Line reed relays, available with a wide variety of switching confi gurations and switch types, including mercury wetted versions. They feature internal mu-metal magnetic screens which allow high packing density without the risk of magnetic interaction problems.
The Pickering Series 100, 101, 103, 106, 107 and 108 all have the same pin locations as the Series 105. If a reduced coil power is desired, please consider our Series 100 and 101 which may be driven directly from CMOS logic. If a higher packing density is required, smaller devices are available in other Pickering SIL ranges.
