The Pickering Series 105 is a single-in-line reed relay with a plastic encapsulated package and internal mu-metal magnetic shielding for high packing density. The 105-1-A-12/1D variant is a single-pole, normally open (Form A) relay with a 12 V coil and an integrated diode, capable of switching up to 1 A at 20 W with dry contacts. It has an insulation resistance of at least 10¹² Ω, a contact resistance of 0.15 Ω, and a typical capacitance of 2.5 pF across the open switch and 0.1 pF across the closed switch. The relay operates in 0.5 ms with a release time of 0.2 ms, and is mounted with pins spaced 0.1 in. (2.54 mm) apart in a 0.75 in. (19.1 mm) length package.
The Series 105 is a range of Single-in Line reed relays, available with a wide variety of switching confi gurations and switch types, including mercury wetted versions. They feature internal mu-metal magnetic screens which allow high packing density without the risk of magnetic interaction problems.
The Pickering Series 100, 101, 103, 106, 107 and 108 all have the same pin locations as the Series 105. If a reduced coil power is desired, please consider our Series 100 and 101 which may be driven directly from CMOS logic. If a higher packing density is required, smaller devices are available in other Pickering SIL ranges.
