The Series 102 is a range of subminiature coaxial reed relays for RF and high-speed digital applications up to 3 GHz, offering low insertion loss, high isolation, and excellent VSWR in 50 ohm systems. The 102M variant features a mu-metal case in a single-in-line package with six pins for PCB mounting, supporting up to 20 watts switching at 200 volts. This specific variant is a Form B (energize to break) switch with a 5-volt coil, rated for 20 watts and 1.2 amps, with an initial contact resistance of 0.15 ohms, insulation resistance greater than 10^12 ohms, and capacitance across the open switch of 0.1 pF. Operate and release times are 0.5 ms and 0.2 ms respectively.

Two package types are available, both displaying outstanding RF performance in terms of low insertion loss, good isolation and excellent VSWR characteristics in 50 ohms systems. These relays have good coil drive levels making them ideal for portable applications or where space is at a premium. If an even smaller RF relay is required, look at the Series 109RF or 111 RF.
