The 102M-1-A-12/1D is a subminiature coaxial reed relay in the Series 102 family, featuring a mu-metal package for dense packaging without magnetic interference. It is a Form A (energize to make) relay with a 12 V coil and an internal diode, designed for 50 ohm RF systems up to 1.5 GHz. The relay switches up to 20 watts at 200 V with a contact resistance of 0.15 Ω, insulation resistance greater than 10¹² Ω, and capacitance across the open switch of 0.1 pF. It has an operate time of 0.5 ms and a release time of 0.2 ms. The device uses a six-pin single-in-line package for PCB mounting.
The Series 102 is a range of subminiature coaxial reed relays for high frequency applications up to 3 GHz, performance characteristics will be found on reverse of this sheet. Two package types are available, both displaying outstanding RF performance in terms of low insertion loss, good isolation and excellent VSWR characteristics in 50 ohms systems. These relays have good coil drive levels making them ideal for portable applications or where space is at a premium. If an even smaller RF relay is required, look at the Series 109RF or 111 RF.
