The 102F-1-A-12/2D is a subminiature coaxial reed relay in the Series 102 family, designed for high-frequency applications up to 3 GHz in 50 ohm systems. It uses a flatpack package with axial terminations for direct stripline mounting, ensuring excellent VSWR and low insertion loss. This variant is a Form A switch with a 12 V coil, rated for 20 W at 200 V and 1 A contact current. Closed contact resistance is 0.10 Ω, insulation resistance exceeds 10¹² Ω, and open switch capacitance is 0.1 pF. Operate and release times are 0.5 ms and 0.2 ms respectively. The device features SoftCenter construction and is 100% tested for dynamic contact resistance. Package dimensions are 13.5 mm × 5.08 mm × 8.9 mm with a PCB cut-out of 14 mm × 8.9 mm.

Two package types are available, both displaying outstanding RF performance in terms of low insertion loss, good isolation and excellent VSWR characteristics in 50 ohms systems. These relays have good coil drive levels making them ideal for portable applications or where space is at a premium. If an even smaller RF relay is required, look at the Series 109RF or 111 RF.
