The PTRD series is a 40 A general purpose PCB relay with a T90 footprint, designed for switching resistive and inductive loads up to 300 VAC and 110 VDC. It features AgCdO or AgSnO₂In₂O₃ contacts, with this variant (PTRD-1C-5T-1-XG) using AgSnO₂In₂O₃ contacts and gold-plated AgCdO for enhanced conductivity. The relay has a 5 VDC coil consuming 0.9 W, operates with pin 6 omitted to meet UL 508 and UL 873 spacing standards, and includes a 4 kV dielectric option. It offers a mechanical life of 1 × 10⁷ operations and an electrical life of 5 × 10⁴ operations at 40 A resistive load. The device is RoHS compliant, has an operating temperature range of -55°C to 100°C, and weighs 30 grams in open frame configuration.
