TSOS-440-562 is a through-hole, threaded, self-clinching standoff designed for mounting in sheets as thin as 0.025 in. It features a knurled head for close-to-edge installation and a grounded barrel end with earthing teeth. Constructed from hardened stainless steel, it is suitable for clinching into stainless steel sheets with a hardness of HRB 88 or less. The part has a 0.040 in nominal hole size, a 0.125 in thread length, and a head diameter of 0.187 in. The TSOS series meets PEM® performance standards for permanent panel mounting in thin metal sheets.
These standoffs, which use the proven self-clinching design, install with a squeeze in properly sized round holes - and become permanently mounted in the thin sheet.
Types TSO, TSOS, and TSOA self-clinching threaded standoffs provide permanent threads in sheets as thin as .025”.
