The 3997D-HR is a low profile, high rejection surface mount GPS antenna designed for applications requiring compact size and reliable performance. It features a custom ceramic patch element that minimizes detuning effects from nearby objects, ensuring a consistent and clear signal even in challenging GPS conditions. The antenna includes a low noise amplifier and dual SAW filters, providing high out-of-band signal rejection of at least 55 dB at 1559 MHz and 60 dB at 1625 MHz. Constructed from weatherproof and non-corrosive GE Lexan EXL9330, the 3997D-HR is suitable for permanent installations in asset tracking and timing synchronization applications. It operates within a voltage range of 2.7 to 5.5 V and has a current draw of 22 mA at 5V. The antenna measures 1.7 inches by 0.53 inches and weighs 0.057 lbs, with a temperature range of -40¬8C to +85¬8C and a humidity tolerance of up to 95% (non-condensing). The model is RoHS compliant and features an MCX jack connector with four mounting holes for secure installation.
