Pavchrome 92 - is a concentrated, single-dip, blue bright chromate that does not require the addition of nitric acid. Completely miscible in water, Pavchrome 92 can be used in chromating zinc deposited from alkaline non-cyanide, cyanide and acid chloride solutions. Work chromated in Pavchrome 92 has the blue bright appearance of chromium, providing protection from staining and fingerprints while producing a desirable base for dyeing operations and both air-dried and baked lacquer coatings. A Teflon immersion heater is recommended.
