The Model 1000RC async short range modem supports distances up to 17 miles (27.4 km) on 19 AWG at 1200 bps over two unconditioned twisted pairs. Operating at data rates up to 19.2 kbps, the Model 1000 is compatible with the Patton Model 1009 and 1015.
The Model 1000RC is available with RJ-11 or RJ-45 rear interface cards. For workgroup and desktop communications, the Model 1000RC can be used in Patton's 2, 4 and 8-slot ClusterBoxes™. The combination of rack mount, ClusterBox™ and self-powered units provides a completely integrated Model 1000 networking solution.
