Protection class IP64 protected linear drives If linear drives come into contact with sugary or other sticky fluids during operation, there is a risk that parts of the drive, such as covers or guides, will jam, especially after long periods of downtime. In the best case scenario, the resulting functional failures will necessitate extensive cleaning. Origa Division Europe has developed a solution to protect the complete range of linear drives, including their system accessories, making them ideal for use in damp, dusty, cleaning-intensive environments. In order to achieve the protection required against penetration by spray or other substances, the complete Clean Design drive, including its accessories such as guides, sensors and travel measurement systems, has been installed in a modular, stainless steel housing. A driver provides the connection between the linear drive and the customer's equipment; during its stroke it passes through a special type of seal system. Features: Complete stainless steel housing with special sealing Spray-resistant for cleaning-intensive environments User-friendly seal replacement without the need for tools Can be fitted in three different installation positions Air connection only required from one side Flexible, stroke-length-specif ic attachment points
