The Karakal has been initially developed for rubber recycling, but ultimately it may also be applied to plastics. It is designed for the recycling of technical rubber parts from production and also used tyres. As there is a lot of waste generated in this sector, a process was developed that alloes for waste to be recycled back into production. In order to do so, the material must be size reduced into a very fine powder, with particle sizes of under 500 micron and a D50 of around 250 micron.
High size reduction ratio at low power consumption
Precise split cut; particle size adjustable
Quick exchange of resharpenable grinding segments
Adaptable to most different materials, versatile and flexible
Cool grinding process for the production of a cold end product
