The NCP1052XP136 is a monolithic high voltage gated oscillator power switching regulator designed for AC-DC converter applications. It operates directly from a rectified AC line source, supporting fixed input voltages of 100 V, 115 V, or 230 V, and variable inputs ranging from 85 V to 265 V. The device can deliver output power from 6.0 W to 40 W, making it suitable for various applications including wall adapters and low power standby supplies. Key features include an active startup regulator that eliminates the need for an auxiliary bias winding, overload protection, thermal shutdown, and auto restart fault detection. The NCP1052XP136 also incorporates a unique gated oscillator configuration for fast loop response and reduced electromagnetic interference (EMI).
