The J174 is a P-channel JFET designed for low-level analog switching, sample and hold circuits, and chopper stabilized amplifiers. It is packaged in a TO-92 case measuring 0.748 inches in height and weighing 0.1977 grams. The device has a maximum drain-gate voltage of -30 V, a gate-source cutoff voltage range of 5.0 to 10 V, and a zero-gate voltage drain current of -20 to -100 mA at VDS = -15 V. The drain-source on resistance is up to 85 Ω at VGS = 0. Total device dissipation is 350 mW with a derating of 2.8 mW/°C above 25°C.
