The FXMA2104UMX is a dual-supply, 4-bit voltage translator designed for bi-directional voltage translation between levels ranging from 1.65V to 5.5V. It features an open-drain interface that does not require direction control, making it suitable for applications using the I¬=C-Bus interface. The device supports I¬=C clock stretching and multi-master configurations, and it can accommodate standard-mode and fast-mode I¬=C devices. The FXMA2104UMX is fully configurable, with inputs and outputs that track their respective supply voltages (V_CCA and V_CCB). It includes internal power-down control circuits that place the device in a 3-state condition if either supply voltage is removed. The part is packaged in a compact 12-lead ultrathin MLP package measuring 1.8mm x 1.8mm and offers ESD protection exceeding 5kV for HBM and 2kV for CDM. Operating temperature ranges from -40¬8C to +85¬8C, making it suitable for a variety of applications.
