The FPF2183 is a full function load switch designed for applications requiring current limiting and reverse current blocking. It operates within an input voltage range of 1.8 to 5.5V and features a current limit of 200mA to 400mA. The device includes thermal shutdown protection to prevent damage from excessive heating during continuous over-current conditions. It has a fast current limit response time, with 30ns for hard shorts, and a fault signal output (FLAGB) that indicates over-current or thermal conditions. The FPF2183 does not have an auto-restart feature; it remains in constant-current mode until the switch current falls below the limit.
