The FOD617A300W is a 4-pin dual in-line phototransistor optocoupler with a current transfer ratio of 40-80%, an input-output isolation voltage of 5000Vrms, and a maximum operating temperature of 110°C. It features a gallium arsenide infrared LED driving a silicon phototransistor, with a collector-emitter breakdown voltage of 70V and a collector current rating of 50mA. The device is VDE approved, supports Pb-free reflow soldering, and meets UL and C-UL safety standards. Its compact package measures 7.62mm lead spacing with a height of 4.06mm. Power dissipation is limited to 70mW for the LED and 150mW for the phototransistor.
