The FMS6366MSA28 is a selectable YPbPr HD/SD 4:2:2 video filter driver designed for applications such as cable and satellite set-top boxes, DVD players, and personal video recorders. It features triple 6th order filters with selectable cutoff frequencies for standard definition (SD) and high definition (HD) video. The device supports YPbPr filtering with bandwidths of 8/30MHz for Y and 4/15MHz for Pb and Pr channels in HD mode, and 8MHz for Y and 4MHz for Pb and Pr in SD mode. The FMS6366 requires external delay compensation, which must be handled in the digital domain prior to filtering. It provides a composite summer output and includes dual multiplexed inputs. The outputs deliver a gain of 6dB into 150,Ѷ AC-coupled loads. The device operates on a 5V supply and is packaged in a lead-free SSOP-28 format.
