The FL7930BMX is a single-stage flyback and boundary-mode power factor correction (PFC) controller designed for lighting applications. It operates in critical conduction mode and features a voltage-mode PWM control that enhances efficiency by eliminating the need for rectified AC line voltage information. Key features include over-voltage protection (OVP), open-feedback protection, and under-voltage lockout (UVLO) with a 3.5 V hysteresis. The controller also incorporates a zero current detector (ZCD) and provides a peak gate drive current of +500/-800 mA. This device is suitable for various lighting applications, including general LED lighting, industrial, commercial, and residential fixtures, as well as outdoor lighting solutions.
