The FAN7621SSJ is a pulse frequency modulation controller designed for high-efficiency half-bridge resonant converters. It operates with a variable frequency control and a 50% duty cycle, supporting an operating frequency of up to 300 kHz. The device features zero voltage switching (ZVS) technology, which enhances efficiency by reducing switching losses and noise, allowing for a smaller electromagnetic interference (EMI) filter. This controller includes built-in protection functions such as over-voltage protection (OVP), over-current protection (OCP), abnormal over-current protection (AOCP), and internal thermal shutdown (TSD). It is suitable for various applications, including PDP and LCD TVs, desktop PCs and servers, adapters, telecom power supplies, and video game consoles. The FAN7621SSJ operates within a junction temperature range of -40¬8C to +130¬8C and is available in a 16-lead small outline package (SOP).
