The CAT5114AV4-00 is a 32-tap digital potentiometer designed to replace mechanical potentiometers and trim pots. It features a non-volatile EEPROM for wiper position storage, ensuring that settings are retained even when powered down. The device operates on a single supply voltage ranging from 2.5 V to 6.0 V and has low standby current consumption. Control is facilitated through three input pins: CS (Chip Select), U/D (Up/Down), and INC (Increment), allowing for easy adjustment of the wiper position in either direction.
