The ADP3611MNR2G is a dual MOSFET driver designed for driving two N-channel switching MOSFETs in nonisolated synchronous buck power converters, particularly for CPU power applications in portable computers. It supports multiphase regulators with a current capability of up to 25 A per phase. The driver features a bootstrapped high-side driver that accommodates high voltage slew rates and includes an internal synchronous MOSFET to replace an external bootstrap Schottky diode, enhancing efficiency. Key features include anticross-conduction protection circuitry, undervoltage lockout, a crowbar input for independent low-side MOSFET activation, and a low-side MOSFET disable pin for improved efficiency at light loads. The shutdown (SD) pin allows for the simultaneous turn-off of both MOSFETs to prevent rapid output capacitor discharge during system shutdown. The device operates over an extended temperature range of -10°C to 100°C and is available in an 8-lead DFN 2x2 mm package.
