The 74F299SCX is an 8-bit universal shift storage register featuring TRI-STATE outputs. It supports four modes of operation: hold (store), shift left, shift right, and load data. The device has common parallel I/O pins that are multiplexed to minimize the pin count, and it includes additional outputs (Q0,ÄìQ7) for easy serial cascading. A separate active LOW Master Reset input allows for resetting the register. The device is designed for bus-oriented applications with guaranteed ESD protection of 4000V minimum.
