Oil-Rite Corp. Lubrication System Providing 2 GPM at 75 PSI, 18 Gal Reservoir, Logic and Control Circuitry YC873-1

Description
Oil-Rite manufactures Lubrication Systems specifically to customer requirements. All systems are engineered, designed, manufactured and fully tested at Oil-Rite. This is an example of a custom built Circulating Oil System. This circulating oil system has a cast iron, screw type pump providing 2 GPM at 75 PSI. The ½ HP, 1725 RPM, TEFC motor is operated by three phase power at 230/460V 60Hz. The 18 gallon capacity reservoir is constructed of stainless steel. A top filler cap makes filling the reservoir quick and simple. The filler cap is equipped with an air filter and liquid strainer to help maintain liquid quality. A baffle in the tank separates sediment and reduces turbulence. There is a 100 mesh stainless steel suction filter inside the reservoir to filter larger debris. The reservoir has (2) ½ NPT Drains with stainless steel ball valves and (1) ¾ NPT return connection. A level switch inside the reservoir can be wired to shut down machinery or turn on warning devices when the liquid supply fails or recedes to a predetermined level. The 10 micron, stainless steel, duplex filter features a replaceable element, 50PSID Bypass and condition indicators with a SPDT switch. Heaters can maintain a certain liquid temperature and assist in cold weather start-ups. This Circulating Oil System features a 1500 watt screw plug immersion type. The integral thermostat is adjustable from 60° to 250° F. The heater is housed in a NEMA 4 enclosure. An air cooled heat exchanger maintains a constant oil supply temperature. The heat exchanger used with this Circulating Oil System removes approximately 21,000 BTU/HR; oil comes in at about 170° and circulates out at 120°. The fan motor is powered by the same voltage as the primary motor. This Lubrication System features a NEMA 4 electrical enclosure containing motor starters, lights, switches, pump alternator relay and all electrical components connected to a terminal strip for customer interface connections. Additional features: Bypass relief valve adjustable from 30 to 100 PSI, stainless steel construction, to set system pressure. A pressure gage displaying 0 to 160 PSI with isolation valve. A stainless steel thermometer located after the heat exchanger displaying 0° to 250°F. A flow switch and indicator, with digital display located on the front of electrical enclosure. SPDT relay contacts for customer interfacing are located inside the electrical enclosure. Check valve located at the system outlet to ensure fluid flows in only one direction. 3-way mixing valve to control oil temperature through heat exchanger adjustable 90° to 140°F. All Circulating Oil Systems are quoted specifically to customer requirements . Pricing can be determined only after the Circulating Oil System Request Form (found on this page) is completed. Contact the bearing manufacturer for information on the flow rate and fluid required. Delivery is dependent upon supplier availability, lead times range from 4 to 10 weeks.
