Oil-Rite Corp. Dual Circulating Oil System, 18 GPM at 85 PSI, 100 Gal Tank YC859-1

Description
Oil-Rite manufactures Lubrication Systems specifically to customer requirements. All systems are engineered, designed, manufactured and fully tested at Oil-Rite. This is an example of a custom built Circulating Oil System. This Circulating Oil System is a dual, independent system sharing a common reservoir. It has dual cast iron gear pumps, each providing 18 GPM minimum at 85 PSI. The dual 3 HP, 1160 RPM, TEFC motors are operated by 3 phase power at 230/460V 60Hz. The motors are also rated for operation at 7600 ft. altitude. The 100 gallon capacity reservoir is constructed of welded steel. A top filler cap makes filling the reservoir quick and simple. The filler cap is equipped with an air filter and liquid strainer to help maintain liquid quality. A baffle in the tank separates sediment and reduces turbulence. Dual 100 mesh stainless steel suction filters inside the reservoir filter larger debris. A level transmitter located in the reservoir monitors the liquid supply. This system is plumbed for continuous operation with a dual filtration system. The 23 micron filters feature spin-on elements to facilitate simple cleaning and replacement. Differential pressure gages are provided to monitor circulation and detect filter contamination. Heaters can maintain a certain liquid temperature and assist in cold weather start-ups. This Circulating Oil System features a 6300 watt screw plug immersion type heater. The heater is mounted to the reservoir and housed in a NEMA 4 enclosure. It has an integral thermostat adjustable from 60° to 250° F. This system also features (2) liquid cooled heat exchangers to help maintain a constant oil supply temperature. The heat exchangers used with this Circulating Oil System are constructed with 316 stainless steel. Each removes approximately 240,000 BTU/HR, and requires 20 GPM of cooling water at a 65° F maximum. Dual thermometers displaying 0° to 250° F are located near each heat exchanger outlet to monitor temperature. This Lubrication System features a NEMA 4 electrical enclosure containing motor starters, lights, switches, pump alternator relay and all electrical components connected to a terminal strip for customer interface connections. Additional features: Dual pressure gages located near the system outlets, each displaying 0 to 160 PSI, of stainless steel construction. Spring loaded bronze check valves located at the system outlets to ensure fluid flows in only one direction. Dual cast-iron bypass relief valves are used to set system output pressure, adjustable from 30 to 100 PSI. Dual temperature transmitters with thermowells located in the reservoir, factory calibrated to provide 4-20mA output for 32° to 212°F temperature range. (4) pressure transmitters with digital display, located before and after each filter, 0-150 PSID range, with 4-20 mA output. Dual brass flow switches actuated at approximately 8GPM, rated 10 Amps at 120/250 VAC, in a NEMA 4 enclosure. All Circulating Oil Systems are quoted specifically to customer requirements . Pricing can be determined only after the Circulating Oil System Request Form (found on this page) is completed. Contact the bearing manufacturer for information on the flow rate and fluid required. Delivery is dependent upon supplier availability, lead times range from 4 to 10 weeks.
