Oil-Rite Corp. Dual Independent Lubrication System, 18 GPM at 50 PSI, 100 Gal Tank YC854-1

Description
Oil-Rite manufactures Lubrication Systems specifically to customer requirements. All systems are engineered, designed, manufactured and fully tested at Oil-Rite. This is an example of a custom built Circulating Oil System. This Circulating Oil System is equipped with dual cast iron pumps providing 18 GPM at 50 PSI. The dual 3 HP, 1760 RPM, TEFC motors are operated by 3 phase power at 230/460V 60Hz. The 100 gallon capacity reservoir is constructed with welded steel. A top filler cap makes filling the reservoir quick and simple. The filler cap is equipped with an air filter and liquid strainer to help maintain liquid quality. There are (2) 2” female NPT return connections and (2) 1/2” female NPT drains. A baffle in the tank separates sediment and reduces turbulence. Dual 100 mesh stainless steel suction filters inside the reservoir help filter out larger debris. Dual 23 micron filters near the outlets help maintain liquid quality. The filters feature spin-on elements for ease of cleaning and replacement. Dual differential pressure gages (one located across each filter) are provided to monitor circulation. A low level switch inside the reservoir can be wired to shut down machinery or turn on warning devices when the liquid supply fails or recedes to a predetermined level. A conduit box and relay is provided for electrical connection of the low level switch. Heaters can maintain a certain liquid temperature and assist in cold weather start-ups. This Circulating Oil System features a 6300 watt heater. The heater is mounted to the reservoir and housed in Nema 4 enclosure. It has an integral thermostat adjustable from 60° to 250° F Dual water-cooled heat exchangers help maintain a constant oil supply temperature. They remove approximately 240,000 BTU/Hr. This system was designed for an application where oil circulates in at about 180° F and out at 120° F. Additional controls include: Dual stainless steel pressure gages, one located near each system outlet, displaying 0-160 PSI. Dual bronze check valves, one located near each system outlet to ensure fluid flows in only one direction. Dual, cast-iron bypass relief valves, one located near each system outlet, used to set system pressure, adjustable from 30 to 100 PSI. Dual brass flow switches actuate at approximately 8 GPM, with one located near each system outlet, and housed in a nema 4X enclosure. Dual temperature switches, one located near each system outlet, adjustable from 75° to 205° F. Dual pressure switches, one located near each system outlet, adjustable from 0 to 60 PSI. Dual stainless steel dial thermometers displaying 0° to 250° F. A 9” centerline liquid level gage on the outside of the reservoir with a dial thermometer displaying temperatures from 0° to 250° F, allowing visual check of liquid level, condition, and temperature at a glance. This custom built circulating oil system measures 48” by 46”. The overall height is approximately 47 13/32”. The system can be secured using (4) mounting holes located on the base of the unit. All Circulating Oil Systems are quoted specifically to customer requirements . Pricing can be determined only after the Circulating Oil System Request Form (found on this page) is completed. Contact the bearing manufacturer for information on the flow rate and fluid required. Delivery is dependent upon supplier availability, lead times range from 4 to 10 weeks.
