Broad Face Nylon Liquid Level Gages feature a large rectangular sight, allowing liquid level and clarity to be easily viewed from a distance. These liquid level gages can be used on hydraulic reservoirs, tanks, large steel mill pumps, gearboxes, bearing housings, hydraulic equipment, crankcases, transformers and machinery oil reservoirs. Their use can be extended to many industrial liquid level viewing applications. This gage has been specially configured for a customer.
This liquid level gage has a clear, durable nylon sight that is rectangular in shape. The front viewing area is 1 3/4” wide. Two aluminum tie rods run through the center of the sight connecting the aluminum end blocks. There is a drain plug that is accessible from the front of the gage. Leak-proof construction is achieved with Buna-N seals. The unit tolerates up to 50 PSI and 205° F.
Fluid enters the gage through the lower outlet and the gage is vented into the tank via the upper outlet. The length between the center of the two outlets is referred to as the centerline. This gage has a 6” centerline. A special feature of this Broad Face Liquid Level Gage is barbed outlets for connecting with 5/8” OD tubing. This allows the gage to be mounted to a panel for viewing and piped to the reservoir.
