Clear View Multiple Feed Electro Lubricators are especially suitable for intermittent operations. Lubrication occurs when the solenoid is activated. This oiler features a Pyrex (glass) reservoir with lightweight and durable polypropylene endplates. It allows maximum fluid visibility by eliminating the center post common to many reservoirs.
The reservoir and sight are vented to allow liquid to reach the outlets by gravity. Each feed has an adjustable precision needle valve to control the flow rate; friction locks guard against loosening from vibration. Drop feeding can be observed through the glass viewing window in the valve bodies.
This reservoir design utilizes a permanent bond that eliminates gaskets. The unit can be filled using the aluminum swing-away filler cap. A Viton o-ring creates a seal between the reservoir and fitting. The aluminum valves contain Buna-N seals (Viton and EPDM seals are also available). Each valve has a 1/8" female NPT outlet. The solenoid has a 1/2" NPT thread for connecting with conduit and is powered by 24VDC (for additional voltages and frequencies, please consult factory). There is a 5/8”-18 mounting thread.
The diameter of the reservoir is 4 1/4”. The total height of the lubricator is 11 1/16,” and total width of the valves is 9 15/16”. It is suitable for temperatures up to 225° F.
This Lubricator has 10 feeds. Anywhere from 2 to 24 valves may be connected to one reservoir. The modular construction allows additional valves to be added at a later date if needed (part no. B3151-01B21GW).
NOTE : This reservoir is not for use with isopropyl alcohol. Polycarbonate reservoirs or reservoirs with aluminum endplates and Viton seals are recommended for use with isopropyl alcohol.
