Nylon Liquid Level Gages with Dial Thermometers are for any application requiring visual indication of both liquid level and liquid temperature. These gages can be used to view liquid levels and temperatures in hydraulic reservoirs, gearboxes, bearing housings, crankcases, transformers and machinery oil reservoirs. Temperature can be easily viewed on the large thermometer.
This gage has aluminum alloy end blocks. The Trogamid nylon sight is clear and durable. Liquid level and clarity can be viewed from all angles. A 1/8” wide red line on the back of the sight enhances liquid level visibility. Leak-proof construction is achieved with Buna-N seals. Temperature is indicated in both degrees Fahrenheit and Celsius on the 2 3/64” diameter stainless steel thermometer. It displays 0 ° F (-20° C) to 250° F (120° C). The unit tolerates up to 125 PSI and 205° F.
Fluid enters through the cross hole in the hollow lower bolt. The gage is vented into the tank through the cross hole in the top bolt. The length between the center of the two bolts is referred to as the centerline. The distance between the center of the tank holes must be within 1/32” of the centerline measurement. This gage is mounted to the tank with (2) 1/2”-20 aluminum bolts. The back mount design requires that the inside of the tank be accessible in order to secure the bolts with plated steel hex nuts. Torque to 90 in-lbs .
