PurgeX Quick Pack Lubrication Systems are reliable, economical, compact and easy to install. This Quick Pack features 2 patented PurgeX pumps with a 3-way air solenoid, pressurized grease reservoir, and programmable cycle timer. The complete lubrication system is secured on a galvanized steel mounting plate that will fit into a standard 12” X 12” X 6” electrical enclosure. The system requires only compressed air, electricity, and lubricant to begin operation. PurgeX PurgeX has the ability to deliver very small amounts of lubricant with each cycle and can be rapidly cycled for greater volumes; it is excellent for high speed applications. Precise volumetric delivery is achieved with the positive displacement design. Any entrapped air and other impurities are automatically purged from the system when the piston slightly over-travels the pump chamber with each cycle. The net result is the ability to reliably deliver an exact amount of lubricant. There is no “after drip,” which makes PurgeX a very effective lubrication solution where product contamination is a concern. The 3 PurgeX pumps included in this system are operated with compressed air between 40 to 120 PSI. The bodies are made of anodized aluminum alloy and the unit tolerates temperatures from -15° F to 180° F. Buna-N seals are used. The liquid delivery per cycle is adjustable between 0 to .012 cubic inches. Each PurgeX operates as an individual pump with a separate adjustment for lubricant delivery per cycle and 1/8” female NPT outlet. Quick Pack Features This Quick Pack has a 1 ½ oz fiberglass and aluminum grease reservoir that is connected directly to the PurgeX pumps. A spring inside the reservoir ensures that the grease reaches the inlet. The reservoir is filled through a zerk fitting. It is suitable for use with grease grades 00, 0, 1 and 2. An adjustable, programmable cycle timer regulates lubrication intervals from .6 seconds to 24 hours. The 3-way air solenoid is powered by 120V/60Hz (for additional voltages and frequencies, please consult factory). The solenoid has a 1/8” female NPT air inlet; this is the only air connection required to operate the lubrication system. The galvanized steel mounting plate is 10 7/8” across, 10 3/4" in height, and extends 4 1/2” in depth. The plate allows for surface mounting with (4) .194” diameter stand-offs that accommodate #10-32 screws. There are also slots for mounting the system in a Nema enclosure. The Quick Pack complete lubrication system is easy to install. Simply secure the mounting plate, connect compressed air, supply power to the solenoid, and route tubing from the outlets to the lubrication points.
