This sturdy gage is made of corrosion and rust resistant milled aluminum. The end pieces are permanently secured through a staking process. The unit tolerates up to 175 PSI and 225° F. The liquid viewing sight is glass. Leak-proof construction is achieved with Buna-N seals. Temperature is indicated with red fluid in both degrees Fahrenheit and Celsius on the 8 1/2” tall aluminum and glass thermometer. It displays -20° to 220° F and -20° to 100° C.
Fluid enters through the cross hole in the hollow lower bolt. The gage is vented into the tank through the top bolt. The length between the center of the two bolts is referred to as the center line. The distance between the center of the tank holes must be within 1/32” of the center line measurement. This gage is mounted from the front of the tank with (2) aluminum bolts with 1/2" male NPT adapters.
