Oil-Rite Corp. Motor Operated PurgeX with Integral Grease Reservoir, 3 Feeds, 1 RPM, 24VDC, Electrical Box B3477-B3E024D01

Description
PurgeX has the ability to deliver very small amounts of lubricant with each cycle. Precise volumetric delivery is achieved with the positive displacement design. There is no “after drip,” which makes PurgeX a very effective lubrication solution where product contamination is a concern. This PurgeX is ideal for applications where compressed air is not available or where direct interface to machine controls is desired. It is operated by an electric motor powered by 24VDC (other voltages and frequencies are available upon request). Lubrication cycles can be easily synchronized with machine operation. A 1 ½ oz fiberglass and aluminum grease reservoir is connected directly to the unit. A spring inside the reservoir ensures that the grease reaches the inlet. The reservoir is filled through a zerk fitting. It is suitable for use with grease grades 00, 0, 1 and 2. The body is made of anodized aluminum alloy and the unit tolerates temperatures from -15° F to 120° F. Buna-N seals are used. The motor speed is 1 RPM. The liquid delivery per motor revolution is adjustable between 0 to .009 cubic inches. It is continuous as long as power is supplied to the motor. The piston diameter is .250”. The grease is filled through a zerk fitting. The outlet is 1/8” female NPT. . This is a 3 feed unit that is 5 17/32” in length and 8 7/16” in height. There are (2) 13/64” dia mounting holes. The motor is enclosed in an electrical box. Each PurgeX in the manifold operates as an individual pump with a separate adjustment for lubricant delivery per cycle. To adjust volume output, remove body with ¾” wrench and turn the adjustment nut. Lubricant delivery can be completely shut off at any time by adjusting the piston to the fully closed position. Do not use a pipe plug as this could cause damage to the internal mechanism. PurgeX functions accurately and reliably. Any entrapped air and other impurities are automatically purged from the pump when the piston slightly over-travels the pump chamber with each cycle. Additional requirements include an electrical connection and tubing and fittings.
